Privacy Policy — Permissions Governance for Confluence

Overview

Permissions Governance for Confluence (“the App”) is published by Mereze Software (developer: Onyekachi Mbaronye). The App is a Forge application for Confluence Cloud that helps administrators audit and manage page and folder restrictions.

Data we access

When an authorized administrator uses the App, it accesses via Atlassian APIs:

Space names and identifiers
Page and folder titles, types, and hierarchy
View and edit restriction lists (users and groups)
User display names for restriction tables

The App does not read or store page body content, comments, or attachments.

Data we store

We do not store customer data outside Atlassian Confluence. The App does not use external databases, files, or analytics. Data is processed in memory during the administrator’s session.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties. All API calls stay within Atlassian Cloud (Forge runtime and Confluence REST API).

Security

Forge OAuth with granular scopes
Write operations require explicit preview and confirmation
No external network egress from the App
Runs on Atlassian eligible infrastructure

Retention

No app-side retention. Uninstalling the App revokes its access to your Confluence site.
