Common issues

Restrictions show “Unavailable” or “Authentication Required”

Upgrade to the latest app version and re-consent scopes. Hard refresh and reopen Who can see what? from Apps in the sidebar.

Cascade or bulk apply skips items (403)

On Roles Only sites, grant the app user a space role with Manage access to individual content. Preview shows planned changes; skipped items appear in the apply summary export.

Lockdown warning on bulk add

Adding a user or group to an Open (space default) item restricts access to listed principals only. Review preview warnings before applying.

Edit drift vs cascade

Use Edit drift to find mismatches, then Cascade edit from the parent to align descendants. Always preview first.

Rate limits

Apply operations are capped at 100 items per run. The app backs off on HTTP 429 responses automatically.
